Fridays and Saturdays | June 1st - August 26th 

Step back in time and catch a glimpse of what life was like on the early Iron Range. We will have spinning, weaving, and sewing demonstrators onsite showcasing their crafts for all to see!

Demonstrations typically take place from 10am-4pm unless otherwise specified and may be subject to change on short notice based on availability. 

SPINNING
Spinning demonstrations will take place at the Thompson Homestead Cabin every Friday and Saturday from June 2nd through August 26th.

WEAVING  
Weaving demonstrations will take place at the loom display on the second floor of the museum every Friday and Saturday from June 2nd through August 26th. Additional weaving demonstration dates include 6/29, 7/27, 8/3 from 4pm-7pm. 

SEWING 
Sewing demonstrations on the treadle sewing machine will take place in Taconite Square on the second floor of the museum (location subject to change if Tac Square is needed for venue rental) on the following dates: June 9th, June 10th, July 7th, July 8th, August 11th, and August 12th.
