Welcome to the Minnesota Discovery Center! We're located in beautiful Chisholm, Minnesota, just three hours north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul and one and a half hours north of Duluth. Open year-round, we offer lots to see and do!
Redhead MTB Park - WINTER TRAILS OPEN.
Miner's Daughter Gift Shop - OPEN. Located inside the summer entrance, open Tuesday-Saturday. Located inside winter entrance.
MDC Museum - OPEN - NEW TEMPORARY EXHIBIT.
The Iron Range Research Center (IRRC) - OPEN. To contact the IRRC to make an appointment or if you have questions please call 218-254-7959 or email yourroots@mndiscoverycenter.com. IRRC is now offering the "I'm New Here" Research Center Orientation Tour on the 2nd Satuday of every month in 2024.
