Seating 1,600, the architecturally iconic Amphitheater is one of Minnesota’s top open-air concert venues. Forged into the historic red rock mining landscape of the award-winning Minnesota Discovery Center campus in Chisholm, the Amphitheater is a music venue worth traveling for.

Upcoming Concerts and Performances 2023: 

JUNE 3RD: (Born On The Bayou / Mason Dixon Line) is two shows in one! Brothers Justin & Jason Ploof, along with seasoned musicians Micah Barrett and Tony Mazzone, come together to celebrate the rich history of both country music and classic rock. Act I is a one-hour celebration of the biggest country hits of the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. Act II is a one-hour set dedicated to the amazing music of Creedence Clearwater Revival. The end result is a trip through the decades for both country and rock during music’s most influential and transformative era. Concert also features special guest “Adessa & The Beat.” Local Grand Rapids area band with a little something for everyone! Expect a tasty mix of country, classic rock, and pop covers of forgotten oldies to top 10's. We'll get your toes tapping and your buckles rubbin' with tunes you're bound to love.

JUNE 15TH: (BLACKHAWK) For more than 30 years, BlackHawk has shared a unique sense of harmony with their voices, their songs and their fans. It’s a harmony that has sold over 7 million albums, scored some of the most distinctive country radio hits of the ‘90s, and still draws tens of thousands of fans to their electrifying live performances. Today BlackHawk continues to honor its past as it forges its future, and does it all with a commitment that takes their music – and the harmony – to a whole new level.

Concert also features special guest "The Christopher David Hanson Band." Strong rhythms, great hooks, and catchy tunes pretty much sum up this Northern Minnesota Group, The Christopher David Hanson Band is known for shows that bring out the dancers, fellow musicians, and story song lovers.

SEPTEMBER 8TH: (HAIRBALL) It's like 20 concerts in one night! A band puts on a concert - Hairball puts on an event! Hairball is a Rock & Roll experience you won't soon forget. The lights, sound, smoke, fire, bombs, and screaming hoards of avid fans...to merely call it a concert would be like calling Mount Rushmore a roadside attraction! Concert also features special guest “The Northwood’s Band” of Duluth, MN at 6pm. Voted Best Local Band by Duluth Reader (2017-2019) & Duluth News Tribune (2018-2022)!
